Terms of Service

The rules that govern your use of Pulse, a social discovery service for adults. Please read them before creating an account or using the app.

Effective 22 October 2026 Android · Google Play Adults 18+

1Age and eligibility

Pulse is available only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Registration requires an age between 18 and 99. If we determine or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close the account and delete associated data without notice. Access from a jurisdiction where the Service is prohibited is not permitted, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

2Grant of access

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Pulse for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights in the Service, including software, design, branding, text, and technology, remain with Pulse or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of the Service, or use it to build, train, or improve a competing product or model. Unauthorized use ends the license granted in this section.

3Acceptable use

You agree to use Pulse in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You are responsible for activity under your account. The following are prohibited:

  • harassment, stalking, bullying, threats, or continued contact after someone has asked you to stop;
  • sexually explicit or obscene content, content depicting self-harm, or content that exploits or endangers anyone;
  • promotion of prostitution, trafficking, illegal sexual services, or sexual exploitation;
  • asking another user for money, gifts, payment credentials, or account access;
  • publishing another person’s private or identifying information without permission;
  • impersonating another person, or misrepresenting your age, identity, or affiliation;
  • creating or operating more than one account, or transferring your account to someone else;
  • using bots, scrapers, automated tools, malware, or any attempt to interfere with the Service, its security, or other users;
  • using the Service for commercial solicitation, advertising, or any purpose other than personal social discovery.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or close an account if we believe these rules have been broken. We may also preserve and report information where required by law or necessary for safety.

4Your content

You keep ownership of the original content you submit, such as profile details, posts, images, and messages (“User Content”). To operate the Service, you grant Pulse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, adapt (for formatting and delivery), and distribute your User Content solely in connection with providing, securing, and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe another person’s rights or violate the law. We do not pre-screen all User Content, but we may remove or restrict it at any time if we believe it violates these Terms or creates risk. Removing content does not necessarily remove copies already held by other users.

5Reporting and blocking

Pulse provides report controls on profiles, posts, and chats, and a block control that lets you stop another user from contacting you or seeing your content. You can also contact us at pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com.

Reports are reviewed at our discretion. We do not promise a particular outcome, a particular response time, or that any report will result in action. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, preserve records, or notify authorities where we believe it is appropriate or required. We are not liable for acting or declining to act on a report.

6Dealings between users

Pulse helps adults discover and communicate with each other, but we do not verify who any user is, their age, their background, or the accuracy of anything they say. We are not a party to any interaction, agreement, meeting, or dispute between users.

Use your own judgment and take reasonable safety precautions. Do not share financial details, passwords, government numbers, or your home address with another user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others, whether they begin on Pulse or continue elsewhere.

7Coins, memberships, and paid features

Pulse may offer coins, Premium membership, Visitor VIP membership, and other in-app items or entitlements (collectively, “Virtual Items”). Virtual Items are licensed to you, not sold.

  • Virtual Items are personal, revocable, non-transferable, and usable only inside Pulse. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods, or value outside the Service.
  • Coins may be consumed when you use eligible paid features, such as paid messages. The applicable price or cost is shown before you use the feature.
  • Where a Virtual Item or membership is offered for payment, the price and billing period are shown before purchase. Payment is processed by Google Play or another authorized payment provider, and that provider’s terms also apply.
  • Sale, barter, transfer, or attempted transfer of Virtual Items outside Pulse is prohibited and void.
  • We may modify, replace, limit, expire, or withdraw Virtual Items, features, or prices. We do not owe compensation if we do so, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
  • Closing, suspending, or terminating an account extinguishes all Virtual Items attached to it.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal. Premium and Visitor VIP may be sold as automatically renewing subscriptions through Google Play. The price, billing period, and any promotional terms are shown on the Google Play checkout screen, which governs the purchase. Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google account. Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, the subscription renews for another period of the same length at the then-current price. You can manage or cancel at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app or closing your Pulse account does not by itself cancel a subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s rules and applicable law. Prices may vary by region and may include taxes. Third-party checkout purchases are governed by the checkout provider’s terms.

8Device features and permissions

Some features require access to your device. Permissions are optional and can be granted, denied, or revoked in Android settings. Withholding a permission affects only the feature that needs it.

  • Camera. Used to capture photos or videos within Pulse, such as images for your profile, posts, or chat.
  • Microphone. Used to record audio when you choose a recording feature.
  • Photos and media. Used to access photos and videos you select from your device gallery for your profile, posts, or chat. We access only the media you choose.
  • Location. Pulse may use approximate location to support discovery and show relevant people or content near you. We do not use precise or background location.
  • Notifications. Used to send notifications about activity, messages, and account-related updates. You can turn notifications off in Android settings.
  • Network. Internet access is required to load content, send messages, sync your data, and process purchases. Network-state access is used to handle connectivity errors.
  • Storage and sync. Your account data and content may be stored online and synced across your devices so your information is available when you sign in.

9Closing your account

You can close your account in the app: open Me → Settings → Delete account, type Delete, and confirm. A seven-day recovery window follows. Signing back in during that window, or choosing Keep My Account on the countdown screen, cancels the request.

After the seven-day window ends, deletion is completed when you next sign in, and the account cannot be restored. You will then start with a new account if you choose to continue using Pulse. Removing the app from your device does not delete your account.

If you cannot access the app, you can use the account deletion page or email pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com. We may need information to locate and verify the account. Data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy, including records required by law, backup copies awaiting the ordinary overwrite cycle, content already received by other users, and de-identified aggregates. All Virtual Items are extinguished when the account is closed. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

10Automated systems

Pulse uses automated systems to support discovery ordering, Feed ranking, safety, fraud prevention, analytics, and service performance. These systems are provided for convenience and operational purposes. We do not guarantee that any ranking, recommendation, or automated signal is accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

The current release does not include a generative AI feature. If we add one, we will provide any required notices and choices. No output of the Service constitutes medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of Pulse.

11Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, interface, design system, brand elements, text, graphics, and workflows, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You may not use Pulse’s name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.

12Copyright notices

If you believe content on Pulse infringes your copyright, send a notice to pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com. The notice must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
  • identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough information for us to locate it;
  • your mailing address, email address, and telephone number;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We may remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who posted it. We may forward a counter-notice to the complainant and may restore the material. Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be terminated. We do not owe a duty to any person to take or refrain from any of these steps.

13Changes to the service

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or withdraw any feature or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, technical faults, network problems, or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee that any feature or content will remain available, and we are not liable for changes, interruptions, or withdrawals.

14Third-party services

The Service relies on or interoperates with third parties, including the app store through which you obtained Pulse, hosting and infrastructure providers, chat infrastructure providers, analytics and attribution partners, and payment or checkout providers. We do not control these services. Their terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or data practices.

15Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND OPERATIONAL STABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, LAWFULNESS, OR OFFENSIVENESS OF USER CONTENT, WHETHER POSTED BY YOU OR ANOTHER USER. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT WILL BE DETECTED OR REMOVED, OR THAT ANY USER WILL FOLLOW THESE TERMS.

16Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE U.S. LAW, PULSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. THIS EXCLUSION ALSO APPLIES TO THE CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF OTHER USERS, AUTOMATED OUTPUTS, AND THE LOSS, EXPIRY, OR EXTINGUISHMENT OF ANY VIRTUAL ITEM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PULSE’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50.00).

IF THE LAW OF YOUR JURISDICTION DOES NOT ALLOW AN EXCLUSION OR CAP OF THIS KIND, THE EXCLUSION OR CAP APPLIES ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT LAW ALLOWS.

17Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pulse and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Service; your User Content; your breach of these Terms; your violation of law or the rights of a third party; or any interaction between you and another user. We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate.

18Suspension and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access or account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, violated the law, or engaged in conduct harmful to Pulse, its users, or the public. On termination, your license and access end immediately, all Virtual Items are extinguished, and you must stop using the Service and remove the app from your device.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution, continue to apply.

19Governing law and disputes

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service are governed by the substantive laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration, send a written description of the dispute and the relief you seek to pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com, and allow thirty (30) days for a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Individual arbitration. Except for qualifying small-claims matters, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration is conducted on an individual basis; no class, collective, or representative claim may be consolidated. A sole arbitrator will preside in English, on the papers, by telephone, or by video, unless the arbitrator decides an in-person hearing is required, in which case it will be held at a place reasonably convenient to you.

Class and jury waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you and Pulse waive the right to pursue class, collective, representative, or consolidated actions, and the right to a jury trial, for any dispute covered by this section.

Opt-out. You may decline this arbitration provision by sending written notice to pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com no later than thirty (30) days after you first accept these Terms. The notice must include your full name, the email address associated with your account (if any), and a clear statement that you decline arbitration. A timely opt-out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

Finality and severability. Arbitration awards are final and binding and may be enforced in any competent state or federal court in the United States. If part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, except that if the class or representative waiver is found unenforceable, this entire section is void.

20Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes in the Service, industry practices, or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page or in the app. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically.

21General provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Child Safety Policy are the complete agreement between you and Pulse regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.

No waiver. A failure or delay in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any later enforcement right.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them. Pulse may assign or transfer these Terms in whole or in part without restriction or notice.

Contact. Formal communications and legal notices should be sent to pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com.

By using Pulse, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
