1Policy scope and commitment

This Child Safety Standards and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (“CSAE”) Policy applies to Pulse and all related digital services operated by Pulse. Pulse is a social discovery service for adults. We are committed to maintaining a community for adults only and take a zero-tolerance stance toward content or behavior that endangers minors.

2Strict age requirement (18+)

Pulse is designed exclusively for adults.

  • No minors. Individuals under eighteen (18) may not create an account, access the platform, or upload content.
  • Age gate and enforcement. Registration requires an age between 18 and 99. If we identify or reasonably suspect that a user is underage, we may suspend or permanently close the account.
  • Reporting underage users. If you believe a user on Pulse is under 18, report the account in the app or email pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com with the subject “Underage user report”.

3Zero tolerance for CSAM and CSAE

Pulse prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”). Prohibited content and behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Visual CSAM: any imagery or media depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.
  • Grooming: any attempt to manipulate, entice, or build trust with a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Predatory conduct: harassment, solicitation, or inappropriate communication directed toward a minor.
  • Sextortion: threatening or coercing a minor in connection with sexual content or activity.
  • Trafficking and exploitation: promoting, facilitating, or profiting from the sexual exploitation of a minor.

4Detection and moderation

Pulse combines user controls, review of reports, and technical measures appropriate to the Service:

  • Reporting and blocking. Profiles, posts, and chats provide a report control, and users can block another account at any time. Reports involving a minor or sexual exploitation are treated as safety priorities.
  • Review of reports. Our service team reviews reports and may remove content, restrict features, or close accounts. We preserve relevant records where necessary for an investigation or a legal obligation.
  • Technical measures. We may use automated signals, filters, and account-level restrictions to detect and limit prohibited content or behavior. These measures assist human review and do not replace it.
  • Age gate. Registration requires the user to confirm an age of at least 18. Accounts we identify or reasonably suspect to be underage are suspended or permanently closed.

Human review matters. Automated signals may help identify risk, but reports and safety signals are reviewed by the service team, and we act on what we find. Automated measures do not replace user reports or human review.

5Mandatory reporting and law enforcement

Pulse complies with applicable laws regarding the protection of minors:

  • NCMEC reporting. Where required by federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, confirmed instances of CSAM are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • Legal cooperation. We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with law enforcement agencies in investigations related to the exploitation of minors.
  • Other authorities. We may also report to other competent authorities where required by applicable law.

6User reporting tools

We give our community clear ways to help keep Pulse safe:

  • In-app reporting. Profiles and chats include a report function, and posts can be reported from their options menu. Report categories include inappropriate content, harassment, sexual content, and underage users.
  • Priority escalation. Reports involving potential child-safety risks are prioritized for review by our safety team. We may restrict the account while a report is reviewed.
  • Blocking. Users can block an account immediately, without waiting for a report to be reviewed.

7Protection of minors’ data

Pulse does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under 18. If we discover that an underage user has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete that information from active systems and close the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided information to Pulse, contact pulseandfeedback@pulseflee.com.

8Child safety contact

For child-safety or CSAE concerns, contact our safety channel. Include the account name, User ID if available, a description of the concern, and any relevant links or screenshots. Do not send CSAM; report it instead.

9Reporting immediate danger

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services immediately. In the United States, suspected child sexual exploitation can also be reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
